Perhaps the mods could be more lenient of the deadline around Christmas time. I've seen some mods extend it over the holidays and add a day or two like dave just said. Also, not replace anyone over this time but otherwise it is the same as always. Posting once or twice a day should be o.k. I would think.

FYI-I will be fairly busy on the 24th and 25th and somewhat on the 28th as well. I'm in hydra so it shouldn't be an issue, more of a general FYI since this is a blitz.
