I don't like complaining, but there should really have at least two list mods for this queue. Vel seems to be the least active of all the list mods, and I understand it's a hard job (plus people have other lives), but the queue shouldn't be this long if there are enough people for two more games.
Making sure newbies have a smooth, fast transition into playing is the most important part about gaining new, active players on this site. At lot of them don't respond after waiting in queue for a week or more.

Yeah, I'm positive they do their best and I'm very appreciative for that! And damn, I never thought about the needing to have extra players in queue. Thanks for informing me.
and what happens after we have finished two newb games?
Play a game outside of the Newbie queue. I suggest the Micro Queue. But you can play whaaaaatever you want. Except Newbies. Once you've finished a game outside Road to Rome + 2Newbies, you can /in as an SE for another Newbie game.
