Hello everyone. I've got a few questions because I'm feeling a bit lost on the rules. Not on Mafia gameplay (I've hosted games for years), but the forum's rules here.
I was told that in order to host your own games you have to play for a set period of time. Do you know what exactly is required before a member can starting posting their own games, please?
So, is it safe to assume that here a Moderator is the one who owns/hosts/runs his or her own game? When we played Mafia games on other forums, there'd be a member we call the Host who'd operate the game, and then we'd enlist the help of a moderator to perform the mod actions for us. One time I even hosted a mod game with 22 players, lol.
So, I guess if that's the case, I'd like to join one of these games in order to become a mod and run my own game, please.

Oh, I see. I just read through more of the FAQ. Do I post on here to get into a new game, or am I on the wrong thread, lol?
I'll join any Newbie game to get this show on the road.
And one other thing, please. One of our games with 16 players we created a function in which each player had a "card" with a watered-down effect that could only be used once, and only during a Day Phase. Could that be allowed somewhere here?

Thanks for queuing me in, Singer.
I've got a question about gathering players for a game. On another forum I'd invite members via PM, and that's how I'd get games with 16+ players. Is that allowed here? I'd like to run rather large games in the future, please.

I can understand them thinking this is my very first Mafia game.
There ought to be a better way to accommodate new Mafiascum.net Mafia players who've had years of experience playing/hosting games elsewhere.

I've already grown accustomed to the way Mafia games are hosted and played here. (Not trying to be arrogant, really. I've played and hosted multiple games for over four years.)
I'll likely sign up to play a basic game here after the current Newbie game has resolved. To be honest, what I really want is to start hosting games, because I find that to be one of the funnest aspects of the game.

Wait, what?!
No, I only made an alternate legitimately after asking Mr. Flay about it first. You're confusing the hell out of me now. I don't know where you get off accusing me of breaking rules, NS, but if you want to bring staff into it fine by me.

OK, so if I'm understanding right then I never knew this.
If you're not a newbie, you've been playing for some time, and you've already completed a mandatory Newbie game... You're not allowed to sign up for games here?

You're up for the next game, though.
I see, thanks, and yes. Just itchin' to play in another Newbie game. It's fun in its own way.
