You can't /in to SE until you have three completed games on site.
This is incorrect. It's three FINISHED games, not COMPLETED games. Finished means you're dead/lynched/shot/whatever. Completed means the entire game is over.

No, you aren't. After you finish two games on-site, you have to finish a third outside of the Newbie Queue before you can participate in the Newbie Queue again, other than replacing in for a newbie.

We have a few things different from EM. The one you've encountered is longer deadlines, and generally longer times completing games. This allows for a higher level of play, which most players on our site (if not all?) prefer.

This is not entirely accurate. Not all games have activity requirements of a post once every 72 hours - some mods require a post every 48 hours. The newbie mod is allowed to make this determination. If ever in doubt, check the ruleset posted by the moderator in the first few posts of the game thread. The activity requirement for a Newbie will never be more strict than once every 48 hours, though.

I've never been an IC before, but I've already been approved once to do so. I /in'd to IC a long time ago and my games were approved by singer, but then I had to /out due to lack of time. Do I need to be reviewed again? If so, shoot me a PM and I'll send you links.
Please be patient - it normally takes up to a week for a player to be placed into a game. Remember that the list moderator as well as the game moderators are all volunteering their time to put these games together, and they all have real-life responsibilities as well. There should be some games created soon!

That shouldn't be a problem, for a couple reasons.
1) Games typically take 3-5 days to get started in the Newbie Queue, which is also fairly typical for the site as a whole.
2) Newbie games (and most games on the site) have activity requirements of posting at least once every 48 hours, so not being around for a period of time less than two days is never an issue.

You are never required to play in The Road to Rome. You are welcome to leave "early" or never play here in the first place if you feel comfortable doing so. I'd still highly recommend playing in at least one newbie game, because things work a lot differently on this site than other sites (longer deadlines, way different setups, etc.) and people tend to take some time to transition.

Absolutely this. We could probably do with less than two full games worth of newbies in the queue, but honestly, better safe than sorry. It's much more important to keep the games currently launched from having to stop and wait multiple days for a replacement (something that destroys a game in progress) than to launch an extra game and get it going a few days earlier.
