This game will begin with Day 1, and another Day will follow each Night until the end of the game. During the Day, all living players are allowed to discuss and vote. A Day may last no longer than 18 days. Extensions may be given if I find the circumstances to be reasonable.
Votes are placed in the thread by posting the word “vote” and a username next to each other, and bolding both. The username need not be verbatim as long as it is discernable from any other username in the game. You may remove your vote by posting the word “unvote” and bolding it. You do not have to unvote before you vote for another player. I will post a vote count as often as possible, but no more than once per page.
When a majority of the living players vote for the same player, that player is lynched. They will be eliminated from the game and their role will be revealed.
The time between the casting of the lynching vote and the announcement of Night is known as Twilight. During this time, all living players may talk, even the one to be lynched.
One may also vote for no lynch to occur. No Lynch will occur when half of the living players are voting for No-Lynch.
Nights will follow each Day until the end of the game. During the Night, any player who has a Night Action should send in their choice. If they fail to do so and their action is compulsory, their choice will be randomized. All nights will last approximately 72 hours.
If a player fails to post for 72 hours, I will prod them by Private Message. If they fail to post in the 48 hours following their prod, they will be replaced. If you know of any upcoming times you will be unable to post, please post it in the thread. I’d prefer you didn’t PM me; otherwise, the other players wouldn’t know of your absence. I’ll excuse any absence of a week or shorter, but if it’s longer than a week, I will most likely replace you.
Here is a basic list of things I don’t want you to do:
- do not break any of the already established site-wide rules.
- do not have private conversations with other players, unless your Role allows you to. If you can, please post only in the provided QuickTopic, and nowhere else.
- do not post after your death.
- do not insult other players.
- do not use red (#FF0000), as it is what I’ll be using. Especially do not use it in an attempt to imitate me editing your post.
- on that note, don’t post anything I’ve privately sent you. That includes things that I didn’t really send you but you want it to look that way.
- do not not have fun.
