I'd say announce it in thread with further reasoning, if only because otherwise the Anti-Nom option would be literally entirely pointless since how can you oppose a nomination that you don't know exists.

Nominated Plottin Kittehs for Don Corleone for their play in ClownTardis mafia

They didn't get voted a single time. The only scumreads thrown in their direction was slight suspicion which never really amounted to anything. Pulled the game through despite their partner on a 2-man scumteam in a 13-player game being crap and lynched D2 (that was me!).

Sorry I don't have a huge amount of familiarity with the Scummie process but I think Plotinus is an amazing scum player based upon the encounters I've had with them and even based upon their up-to-current work of this year, would be an oustanding candidate for a nomination of this kind.

Don't mean to sound harsh, just curious, but... are the 2015 scummies actually being worked on or are they just dead in the water? Because the ceremony was planned to be about a month ago and we've heard nothing for a while.

Never before, in the history of Mafia, has there been a player who has gone from not playing to catching scum with such aplomb. If one was to look at Deductive's play in the aforementioned game, they would find that advanced interrogation techniques to rope his foes into ultimate defeat. It's undeniable that Deductive is probably going to be responsible for shifting the site-meta entirely towards town winning a majority of games, as well. Give this man a medal.
