Nominate Malthusis for best role, for the Tentaculat in the just-completed X-Com Terror from the Deep mafia.

Basically- it's a cult role that I
don't
hate. That, friends, takes some doing.

Come from behind victory is a stupid concept. Most of the most impressive town, scum, or 3rd party performances involve winning from a near-impossible situations. I don't see the need for a separate category.

Actually a lot of them involve complete decimation of the opposition, like perfect games and such.
Disagree. At least in terms of the individual awards. For the team awards, sure, not losing anyone looks good. But when you're thinking about Don or Paragon,
if the oppo doesn't get anywhere near any of your buddies/goes down in order, it indicates to me they didn't play that well.

The best performances are those where the opposition doesn't play badly at all, and might even think they've got everything all figured out, but you still somehow manage to pull it off. In scum terms, I'm thinking cases where your scumbuddies self-destruct, or get investigated, or crosskilled, and you pull off multiple mislynches on your own. Perfect scumgames aren't that rare, really.

Everyone's got two or three games like that. You can't force people to be impressed.

Is it not possible that, if no-one else in your game thought you were that brilliant, you weren't actually that brilliant?

I was more referring to this.
Truth in humour- self-nomming is horrible, egomaniacal, assholish behaviour, and even when it's made perfectly clear it's not acceptable, some douchebag who thinks he's God's Gift will still do it.

Just say no to autofellatio.

Uh, this is EXACTLY what the Don Corleone award does.
