Just so everyone is ~aware~ we only have a single nomination in the entire scum awards category. DC is a body-of-work, so totally understand that these will likely come in later. But if you've seen a scumteam that's really made a game memorable for you, please nom them!

Excluding Body of Work awards, the following categories still have no nominations:

- Don Corleone
- Rube Goldberg
- Mad Scientist

Town lost this mostly because of a really badly executed claim from a town player, a fantastic scum fakeclaim from ducky, and some... I'm going to go with the word 'distasteful' AtE from the other scumplayer involved.

i am, honestly, amazing.
wrt other scum player - i can vouch for the AtE not being fabricated, so not sure "distasteful" is a word i'd throw around so quickly.

still, this is a digression. selecting the wrong type of AtE to eliminate is not really a fault in mafia play. i agree these are all very good examples of a very deserved nom.

no harm done here! in a vacuum it just felt underexplained / like it probably could have been left out to make the same point. skitter was terrifying in that game.

great nom - in a pinch I agree, SS carried early and Hoopla drove it home perfectly. If I feel energised I'd be pretty interested in, at a bare minimum, doing a version of the same Nom but including Pooky's effort. I really feel like Menalque's attempts to avoid being miselim'd were a moment in history. There are another bunch of alternate universe where Mena just became so ludicrously towny that SS was eliminated a day earlier, and Hoopla would have had a MUCH tougher con to sell (that extra mis-elim would have been brutal). I may have the added benefit of seeing the tension in the scum pt when they started to realise Mena might wriggle out of his elimination. But it was probably one of the most tense parts of the game.

Afaict Pooky made the call that his slot, and SS', were pretty unlikely to endgame - chainsawing the hell out of SS to force the Mena elimination across the line at the cost of, what, burning two scumslots who were basically about to go down, was honestly inspired.

Historically, games that finished in the current year have been disqualified from last year's scummies - quality first nom for the 2021 thread though!
