Hello everyone, co-mod Haschel here. Some of you may be asking "Wait, didn't a game (Lights, Camera, Action!) just sign up?" or "Why is this game starting so close to the start of another game?" Those are excellent questions.

Firestorm has been a scummer for a long time but has done the bulk of his LSG modding in multiple other communities. He approached us about running a game that would include both scummers and regulars from his other sites, which are ORGyuniverse and Clubs That Suck. He agreed to follow the MS rules about comods, listmod oversight, and MS conduct rules, and as such we have greenlighted this game as a Community Crossover Event!

This game will not be starting until November 17th. The LCA mods have assured us that their game will be either in or near the merge at that point. That means if you are an LCA player who gets booted early, this game is available for you! If you are a spec who finds watching LCA has you itching to play again, this game is available for you. If you are an LCA player and you reach merge, well, probably don't split your focus. But in the past MafiaScum has staggered games just like this when we had the game supply to support it. This is intended to be sort of a return to that.

Now, while xof and I have reviewed the game and given it a thumbs-up, we do want to make it clear that Firestorm is bringing in some things that don't necessarily match the MS meta. First and foremost of these is the schedule. I know he already mentioned that above but it bears repeating:
This game will basically be double-time compared to what you are used to; the challenge for Round 2 will be happening at the same time as the Tribal Council for Round 1.
This will naturally be a bit of a shift. However, the non-scummer players will be used to live challenges with TC immediately afterwards, so they will be making adjustments too. If the schedule is a dealbreaker for you then we understand! But if you are willing to try it, we think you will find Firestorm's game rewarding.

One of our goals when we launched the Let's Start Games initiative was to spur innovation; this crossover game is designed to do the same. So come on, Survivor: Barbie player; let's go party, ah, ah, ah. Let's show the greater ORG community what MafiaScum brings to the table.
