In both matrix propositions I can still see the issue of scum having a safe fake claim if a certain role is out. In the current one if Jailkeeper's out scum knows whether there's a 1 shot BP or not, in Rob's and Amrun's scum knows if there's a doc when the watcher is out, and in quilford's scum knows if there's a doctor or not when the cop is out. this could easily be solved by adding another town PR on the other row so that even if scum knows what role it is, they cannot fake clame it safely.

i'd still prefer that doctor isnt a safe fakeclaim if cop is out, but i can see where that would go to "Why didnt you protected the cop!" so probably is better than 1 shot BP being a safe fakeclaim, why not replace bodyguard for a town roleblocker? no that would give 2 roleblocks to town in that line, make it a town roleblocker and swap it with tracker?

I wouldn't use Macho at all in newbie, also hider can act like a weak cop, and is in the same column as a cop. Why does the setup need to be a matrix? we can find out something that doesn't need to be a matrix and works... maybe?

Universal Backup is supposed to change their role to the first PR that dies regardless of alignment, but they keep their alignment so if Mafia Roleblocker dies they become Town Roleblocker, simple as that.
