First phase of gameplay occurs in a PT. Three votes are held to put someone "in the car". Whenever hammer is reached, that player is kicked out of the PT and safehoused. Votes reset, continue. Once all 3 votes have happened, the game thread unlocks and the two players left in the PT are "left behind" (die and flip). If both Mafia members are "left behind", the game is over in a Town win. If two Town members are "left behind", the game is over in a scum win.
The three surviving players must vote to eliminate the Mafia member. If they do, Town wins, otherwise, Mafia wins.
This game is played in a PT so that safehoused players don't have access to the information of the later game, and must make reads based on incomplete information.
The EV of this setup is 66.67% in favor of scum. I expect this to be lower in practice due to the Mafia having incomplete information, and thus being able to bus each other on accident.
