Pablito: Alignments aren't revealed until the end of the game. And two overnight deaths means nothing, due to the possibility of cross-killings.
I almost did a nearly-identical setup for Bond Villain Mafia. I was going to have groups of "villains" from the same movie/organization. Some would genuinely be scum; others would not. The way I was going to run it was thateachvillain group would have one kill to use throughout the game... but I couldn't find a balanced setup that I liked, so I ended up scrapping the idea.-

Just a note to the setup above: The reds and blues are split into pairs. As indicated in the role PMs, they are lynchers of each other; a red wins if his rival Blue is lynched and vice versa.-

The only thing about that setup is that if I were the confirmed unkillable bad guy, I'd basically not attack anybody, so as to give off as little information as possible. And I would only vote in order to hammer a good guy.
I like the townies "don't know which is which" variant better. It gives the confirmed bad guy a chance to play around with the town a bit, as people don't know whether his intentions are geniune or devious.-

I may want to conduct some trial runs of this game (with variants, possibly) in ScumChat. It sounds interesting.-

...considering the town *barely* won a "16 townies, 4 Mafia" withunlimited lynches, those numbers seem a little off to me.-

Could we have "C9 Random" as a setup, where the mod randomly chooses one from a list of several C9 variants, then (if applicable) randomly chooses which roles from that C9 variant are used, then randomly assigns the roles to the players?
...or is that a bit too complicated?-

....why would he need to be a godfather? There's no need for investigation immunity or nightkill immunity.Qman wrote:

Second Random C9...
...I was actually considering doing that for my mini themed game (Gumby's Mystery C9 Setup!) until Martyr Mafia came into being.-

That's not true... I generally post something like "Hold on, I'm reading back" and peopel wait for me.
Maybe I just command respect. <.<-

If no town player has a bullet remaining then scum win.
Godfathers are not kill-immune by convention on MafiaScum.-

I agree with this whole-heartedly.Mr. Flay wrote:
Back on topic I agree with Xyl here. GF means whatever you want, up to and including lynch-proof, kill-proof, investigation-proof, and kill-deciding.Xylthixlm wrote:Godfather (kill-immune) then.
I've seen them both ways here.
I just happened to misunderstand what Xyl meant by "Godfather," and I didn't make the assumption that apparently IRC regulars are willing to make.-

If it is the same as the alignment of arandomly-determinedplayer, then yes -- by definition it is random. It is not random with a 50/50 probability, but it is still random.-
