It's kinda esoteric, Leanan sidhe=literally faerie lover. Leanan Sidhe were a succubus-ish faerie type as well. Back when i played mafia, i had a faerie theme to most everything, and anyone whose talked to me on skype/discord knows i waaay overshare about my sex life.
Lily=yuri=Japanese lesbian fiction, which plays into both my incessation gayness and weeabooism.
All thanks to fferyllt, who came up with it. But, it's clever and multifaceted which is what I personally love about it.
I'm still voting for this!

the other title that was discussed when I nominated Lily Leanán several months ago is "Leanán Sidhe". Sidhe is a term that's a lot more well known than Leanán, and the combination of the two invoke what I was trying to invoke - an inhabitant of a Fae, fey magical realm overlaying our own so closely that sometimes you can wander from one to another and back again. Nati's Arcadia-themed mafia games, her abiding interest in Magic the Gathering, and her writing are all encapsulated in that name.
Nominate Natirasha for Leanán Sidhe.
Does it address your concern about the name being hard to understand? I think it's more esoteric than obscure - some will be called to learn more, and some will leave well enough alone. Those who explore will learn some interesting things about Celtic mythology and the history of the Emerald Isle.
I prefer Lily Leanán, partly because it's a meld of old and new.

(i'm otherwise staying out because i can be bothered trying to understand what it actually means)
I actually suggested Lily Leanan several months ago, but it never really got discussed (aside from LLD and me kicking around Lily versus Sidhe), and I wasn't visiting MS much for several months so I think it was forgotten or buried deep under a lot of other discussions.

I like Aristophane's version, too.
Implosion's version makes me think of Kate Wilhelm's books. The story seems to always take place outside where the characters focus their attention. You catch what's going on out of the corner of your eyes.

I like this one a lot. EP has what seems to me to be incredible self-restraint, which he relaxes in one direction for the most part - to reach out with comfort and companionship. He stretches his comfort zone with deliberation.

There's so much more to singer's contribution to the site than listmodding. singer, her family, the Commune, legendary meets that brought scummers from far-flung parts of the world are some of the site's recent-ish foundations. I keep thinking about pyramids, but I can't make a title from it. Not yet.
The mermaid symbolism is also germaine. A siren call.
