yeah, that was awkward.
There was some confusion on the game itself about it, but at that time I didn't think I should give my reasoning for a modkill. Everything you have to know is in thread basically. RC pushes a case on Titus that doesn't work out for him and in an attempt to push it through he claims a private outside source that is somehow damning. Forum mafia in a way is very simple. You have one thread, and apart from the stuff given in your roles everything happens in that thread. Meta is allowed, but still, that's public knowledge. What RC did, trying to construct an information advantage via a skype call source was breaking the game in his favour. An even playing field was made uneven by it. At that point, it doesn't matter if it's ongoing, if it's real, it should not be part of this game.
At the point I modkilled titus I didn't know for sure it wasn't ongoing game talk, but I suspected so. The major reason to modkill Titus was that the slot was compromised. Suppose I let Titus live, I feared the next day the discussion would revolve around the question if RC really had something on her, or if the mod let Titus live knowing it wasn't true. I wanted to avoid that and to clear the whole issue in one go I modkilled titus too.
All in all obviously made the game less fun than it could have been, I'm sorry about that
Scum otherwise, did play well. But who knows how it could have gone with the cult recruiting another time.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.
