How else do you prevent scum from fake claiming miller? I don't know how likely LadyL is to be an investigation target, but for someone who is likely to be investigated early, it's a great move for them to claim miller very early on. How long are you willing to let a miller live?

Lynching the miller claim is something I'd expect scum to hop on for an easy stance to have with little explanation so dave and texcat can be scum.

Also every D1 miller claim I have encountered on this site has been town so we're not lynching LLD.

Both of these stances are fairly shallow: lynching Miller claims based on policy is not "easy" when policy lynches haven't been a thing for very long now, and calling suspicion of a player scummy without actually looking into a player's suspicions is dumb.

Calling LLD town because she claimed Miller is as terrible as calling her scum because she claimed Miller.

I find the way that Syryana formed his read there is very similar to the way he forms reads as town; I've noticed when we hydra he usually places a vote then thinks about it, gets excited about it, and then moves to ramming the lynch through mode where as scum he works to build town cred up with reads on lots of people before pushing things through.

I haven't seen his scum game in a while, granted, but I'm pretty sure he's town even if my explanation there was sloppy as shit.

Right now, I'm scumreading Texcat/Iecerint/DGB.

I think texcat would probably push the Miller lynch regardless of alignment. My expectation was for him to push the policy lynch through harder and I find him looking for other miller games to be kind of strange when he doesn't plan on reading her but I find the explanation he gave believable enough.

I don't like Iecerint's response to bring accused of not doing anything; he said he didn't post anything because everything early game was RVS and I didn't really agree with that at all. His observations have been shallow as shit; in particular, voting Starbuck because of her reaction to his vote seemed easy and not like something he would push as town, and the complete disengagement from the vibe of the game seems gross to me.

I think DGB's spurt of contribution after she got called out was scummy and underwhelming and found her ignoring the fact people were calling her out uncharacteristic and scummy. I don't understand LLD/Kanye townreads at this point; not particularly scumreading either at this point but the argument that LLD wouldn't claim Miller because it's an unlikely move from her is stupid; a good scum game means that you are constantly defying expectations and LLD's response to Texcat shows she's completely aware of that expectation.

Kanye's thoughts aren't bad and his pushes seem decent enough but I don't think he's done anything that has strong town motivation behind it and I don't think he'd have any real trouble faking anything that he's posted this game. Would be open to hearing why I'm wrong if Matt wants to stop being a secrets man, though.

i think the part why i feel particularly confident on your alignment is because of the way you've approached your own life in this game. i find you usually ask for protection or get survivalistic when you think you're playing well which translates to you having a good handle on the game as town or getting townread a lot as scum (latter part is what I should have picked up on in FF7). i don't think that the "give me a day, vig me, think that a lynch on us would be tainted" is something you would say as a scum lover. am i wrong?

There is not a person in the game who won't lynch him if mollie dies when you do.

Giving town the ability to save one of them makes sense in a scum/town pairing since it rewards town for good reads and rewards scum for good play. It makes less sense in a town/town pairing depending on what Syryana's restrictions are but could also be in order to make town think of the first scenario.

Katsuki could have also failed to figure out that particular interaction because he's Katsuki and let it slide because that was the fairest thing to do based on what he told Syryana his role was.
