My style is a little cramped this game, but sometimes fate is like that. Other people also seem to be at the mercy of fate, and it's affecting my ability to clearly read them.

Yesterday I was on a hike. My body type matches the kung-fu panda, and we have a common nemesis. I did not climb every mountain. In fact I didn't climb any mountain.

Initially I thought Nacho was town but that feeling dropped way off. I'm willing to vote it, though this might change after a concentrated re-read.

I have basically no opinion about dave whatsoever. He's barely done anything.

You should have seen me enough times to know that a lot of people have this opinion of my d1. My reads are usually based on reading (listening), and we have two ears and one mouth for a reason.

Luckily, nobody has questioned my questions, so we haven't seen this guy yet.

This didn't seem directed at anyone in particular. He seemed to pop in when he saw his name, but then seemingly disappeared once the spotlight shifted. That's pretty questionable to me.

If you look closely at the timestamp of that post, and of my post before it, you will note that there is an 8 hour gap while I was sleeping.
If you look at my posting, and texcat, do you notice a similarity? What did texcat flip again?

I still think it's Nacho. I was willing to trust Mollie's report of a big towntell, but haven't seen that explained yet.

Originally I thought Nacho was town because he was tossing some cuteness into his posts. Nacho being cute seemed an anachronism, so the logical conclusion was that his fate was similar to mine. But it has been quite inconsistent and he's still here, while Mollie and I must be significantly more careful in our posting. That's not a lot, but it is something. I also find it interesting that I don't remember him asking about why I called him town to begin with, nor why I changed my mind later. Though I'm busy enough being fluffy that I could have missed it. Further, I looked at him before I sheeped, and saw scum. I did not say why at the time because it was an opportunity to be cute. And now I don't remember the exact reason, will need to look it up.

A couple of you think I'm scum, or at least you say that you do. Some players like to throw down accusations and be pushy in general. Others like to observe and ask questions to catch people in inconsistencies, striking only when they have actual evidence. I'm the 2nd type, always on watch but ready to call out danger when I see it. This is a playstyle thing, which happens to mesh with my fate in the game. It just slows things down a bit and pretty much excludes any mobile posting.

In a nutshell, I'm a lot like this guy, looking at possible dangers.

OK, I can certainly understand your position on meta reads. I was thinking more in terms of a general "people who are town do this" and not individual meta.
Earlier (1st quote) you did say you were doubting it. So signals are mixed a bit. Which are you more confident in, the meta towntell or the suspicion based on gamestate?
I still need to look back and try to remember exactly what I saw that was suspicious.

I think Starbuck is town. I think scum are somewhere in Nacho, Icerint, LLD (are we not lynching liars?), and Syryana.

The idea of me not putting in effort is laughable. You try pushing people while being cute and fluffy at the same time. I'm a logical player with next to no data. I'm putting in effort to make sense of it, but garbage data in means garbage conclusions out. If I survive enough flips it will be a different story.

I very sincerely doubt a post restriction that says "be cute and fluffy!" holds any person back ever from expressing thoughts. I find Dave trying to use his post restriction to explain him not doing shit to be extremely disingenuous.

This is a lie and a misrep. I am expressing my thoughts. They are not popular ones, but they are thoughts. And I did not say the post restriction prevents me from doing stuff.

My interpretation

of it restricts the way I play. I'm an honorable person, and if the mod asks me to be cute, then I'm gonna be cute. So I'm not gonna call you names etc. No matter how much I'd like to.

I only scumread LLD over the fake guilty, would have had her in my strong town bucket.
I think Nacho got plenty of scumreads but insufficient heat for it. Certain players will see more town wins if they listen to me instead of lynching me for playstyle.
