Well, combination of reasons. There's nothing I've seen from gameplay that's actually bad, which makes him being the lead wagon look all the more suspect. ARS being present solidifies that.

I can't find myself forming townreads this game for some reason (outside gameplay, who is town), except by proxy of my scumreads: A Royal Saint, Makoto, The Silver Bard, and hiplop all are figures of interest to me.

I simply haven't liked any of A Royal Saint's content. Nothing ARS has done is something that scum cannot fake, and his stances feel empty.

davesaz is a null read of mine because I didn't like his entrance on gut but I haven't found his other posting problematic--he's not a townread, though.

Davsto would probably make the game a bit easier on me if it turned out he were scum, but honestly I can't say that I think he is. I have trouble locking down anything one way or another on him, though.

I was expecting to get some strong, undeniably town thoughts from Expedience, but they have been absent. While nothing looks bad, I thought there'd be something good.

gameplay I simply feel is town. I haven't had a problem with his posts and I thought the wagon on him was driven by scum.

hiplop is mostly null, but my 235 shows why I'm suspicious of him. That was a terrible wagon-hop. (No pun intended.)

Honestly, I forgot about Klingoncelt earlier; she's there with gameplay as one of my only true townreads right now. Regardless of whether her restriction is real or fake, I see effort to contribute even in spite of the restriction, along with what appears to be original thoughts shining through.

You I simply haven't liked the contributions of. I realize that you're actually taking the advice I gave you by being more active and involved, explaining yourself, but your posting felt awkward then, and to some extent still does.

I shot A Royal Saint, my largest scumread, last night.

I thought that Expedience knew I was a vig because of this:

I'd also just like to add that having Scorpious shot by a potential vigilante would be appealing to me at the moment because he's acting suspicious to me and I can't tell if it's alignment indicative. Additionally, it would confirm if we have a vigilante (of whatever strange variety).

This is why I knew he was town.

It also means that the people who thought Expedience was the vig kill, Firebringer and Davsto, are both town. I was hoping for better commentary than this, but it's all I got.

Because I doubt that scum would be bold enough to declare their nightkill the vig target, and as mentioned, there was no talk of a serial killer.

Personally, I wasn't fond of secondary win conditions that the target did not know how to fulfill (see, my wincon would have been easy if I had known it was Scorpious, but without me having known, I had a 1/10 chance, 10%, of fulfilling it, at best: what if Scorpious had obvtowned himself?), so my main gripe with the game is that. I felt screwed over because I knew that there was no way I could ever actually fill my secondary wincon without blind luck, because you ALSO held the restriction (which I really, really didn't understand the point of) of not allowing us to claim (not even through paraphrase) our secondary wincon.

I played the game as straight-up town, specifically because I knew I was not winning, so if you want to design a secondary wincon, you need to make sure the person actually holds a realistic chance of fulfilling it, else they simply won't bother with it. Which means that for me, the advice I would have is either make the conditions slightly more benevolent (just telling me my target was Scorpious would have helped!), or far more easily, just drop the stupid restriction on not claiming secondary wincons. I felt that aspect added nothing to the game. Secondary wincons are a great idea, but if you're not allowed to so much as paraphrase them, then they become a hindrance.

I feel like if you wanted to stop people from claiming their secondary wincons, a better route than modkilling them would be to give them incentive not to. For instance, a great way to stop me from claiming would be to warn me that there may be someone with a wincon that conflicts with mine. (Which, strictly speaking, was true. While Scorpious and I could both fulfill our wincons, it'd be far more likely that they'd be mutually exclusive, with one of us winning at the cost of the other.) Instantly, that gives me a reason to hold back from claiming.
