I was just speaking from experience. My last game was my first and I told them I made a newbie mistake and it got me lynched.

Off the Mark has a point. On day one there's hardly ever anything to go off of unless the scum is just awful at playing.

Now this is completely unrealated. In some games where one of the scumbuddies has outed himself the other will go ahead and hammer him, or keep his vote on so as not to draw attention to their alliance, and to his own scuminess if he's not being pointed at. Maybe that's what rainy, or any of the other people voting for Eagle are thinking...if he is in fact scum.

On another note, Snow White, you are the player I'd most like to hear some more from at this point in the game - well maybe second most, after ojpower. I'm not asking you to defend yourself, just wishing for a little more verbage so I can get a read on you.

It's just since my first game I've found I'm not very good at Analysis. That's why I tend to hold back and have shorter posts. I'm still learning what it is I'm really looking for to comment on.

A reason would be a good place to start. If I am suspicious then everyone else wants to know why so they can think about it themselves, and I need a chance to defend any of my scummy activities. Unless you really aren't suspicious of me.

Perfectly understandable. The reason I am is because in my last game it got me lynched and I'm experimenting with new styles each game. This is the one where I hang back and think about what I say before I do it.

Let's see, he read his prod PM at 9:30 am this morning and STILL hasn't posted... yeah, he's scum. He never even tried to claim anything.

You need to either ask questions to get whatever info you are waiting for or you need to hammer. Right now you are doing nothing, which I think requires an explanation.

You last post had no real input. You're tiptoeing around as thought you're afraid you might say the wrong thing. Eagle was an awful town player. We all thought he was scum and he refused to explain himself. Do you really think we would have acquired that much more information from him? We didn't want to get deadlined.

And Off the Mark, why don't you wanna try to sort out why JDodge was nightkilled? Even thought there's a chance WIFOM will come into play it could still provide tons of information for day 2.

ojpower has yet to put in anything we can really use. He's being very standoffish, and unconfrontational. It makes me wonder if he's standing back so he doesn't say the wrong thing and point suspicion towards himself. He's making very obvious observations, and he's more or less fueling the fire without bringing anything new to the table.

Ojpower, I'd really like to hear at least a little speculation from you. Maybe something we can use?

Eagle has definitely made the scum's job easier for them.

If we go back to gut level impressions at the begining of the game, SWhite made me feel uneasy. She was almost too nice, and too defending of others. Now I see some shifting around of her playstyle.

But, I'm not even going to make that a FOS yet. We've got a couple of folks we're not hearing anything out of, and I'd really feel cheated if we lose this to lurking scum who were able to sit back and let our own paranoias lead to our ruin.

The only think I have to say to this is that fingers were pointed at me for playing like that, and now they're being pointed for changing my style?

Ojpower probably. He's been the least active. He hasn't contributed anything really that can be used. His little short replies and avoiding answering questions points to the fact that he's lurking in plain sight. He's hiding something and whether or not it's the fact that's he mafia, I don't know, but he is hiding something.

You said ojpower looked suspicious so he wasn't killed, but we all thought Eagle was scum and now we know better. Why would I hammer him if I was scum. It's unlikely that he would have still showed up, and he was a nice distraction for the mafia. Why would they let him be killed?

Anyways! I find it suspicious when everytime some one points a finger in OTMark's direction he doesn't defend himself, so much as he gets defensive and...it comes across as a little paniced. I'm just wondering why? Is it because you have something to hide?

My first choice is Ojpower. He's being vague and he's barely here at all. He was my number two behind Eagle...obviously a mistake, but I don't like his scummy playing style.

My second pick is Off The Mark. He's just not defending his decisions well...maybe that's because there is no defense.

Hey, I did what I had to do to win. This was my second game, consequently my second game as mafia too, but I was willing to do anything not to lose this time. I knew you were all wary of my scumminess, so I pushed my partner because you did suspect him. He made it easy to do, too.
