DLG & freezing-hell: Thank you! I count 12 replacements in a 9 player game. I would again like to thank everyone who replaced in, especially those still with us and the end. It's unfortunate but I believe the average game should be much better for all concerned.
I think in summary, the main points were:
a) The game was slow and featured many replacements;
b) The setup was Cop-Townie
c) The Cop was RoleCopped Night 1 and died Night 2 without claiming any results
town was always going to have an uphill struggle; Greywing's essentially strong play later on looked to seal the deal.
In retrospect, I should have probably just started the game instead of replacing people pre-game - I've seen games stall from having fewer people to start out with, and I personally dislike having people absent at the start, so I waited, but I think that contributed to the slow start since people would have been eager to start playing, even though it was only a week's wait for a two month-long game. I am somewhat miffed at Madmardigan (for example) just jumping ship, though; the town has to bear some blame for not picking up the pace.
Day 1: I think the Fallman7 lynch was difficult to avoid given his play. I don't think there was enough of an attempt to get him to do stuff rather than just die, although it looked to be tough to accomplish. In general, that day was poor for a Day 1; very little information was produced, and it showed on later days.
Night 1: Town got very unlucky with the randomised rolecop hitting the only power role Night 1. I am somewhat surprised Mafia went for killing the IC given there was a 50% chance of a protective role which would very likely have targeted him, but it did pay off.

I was surprised this happened, since you seemed to be around during the day. Did you expect a PM or something along those lines? Most real games would've had you forfeit your night action, anyhow.
Day 2: The key problem of pace becomes very apparent with a dead IC, an inexperienced and/or plain lurky SE in iDanyboy and an SE who has a power role and can't be as aggressive. There is a strong connection between being experienced and knowing how to jump-start a game, although it's usually difficult regardless.
Greywing's play, both defending Kibbles after the rolecop result and bussing Ghost World as hard as he did remind me of
this:
Mafia generally have more information than other players, so whoever picks up on tells/hints easiest is more likely to be mafia.
Okay, so it's fairly dubious to apply it to defending a Cop and attacking a Mafia Goon, but still. I believe Johnny brought this up in
#416. I do think after the Cop does indeed die Night 2 without looking like a particularly good kill, it should have occurred that probably he was rolecopped Night 1. Irritatingly, I do think Kibbles played okay with respect to hiding his role, and it's still not that likely he was targeted Night 1 - of course it was just luck here - so perhaps it's okay to write off the possibility. But the way Greywing defended him so strongly the very night before he died stood out to me, although of course I know the roles. I'm not sure anyone got a particularly straight answer about why Grey was so convinced.
Night 2: I thought Johnny looked quite town during the day
If I remember correctly, a Ghost World investigation would have seemed to be the play since Greywing was definitely in a position to make that happen Day 3 independent of his alignment, and it's probably LyLo in the morning.
Day 3: Greywing now seems
very
confident to me, voting dicknose essentially for absence (?) in LyLo instead of seeing if he's getting replaced. I probably would have at least raised an eyebrow ingame, but I think town is just doomed - it's not enough to figure out Grey is scum; you then have to, in Hyperion or whoever's shoes, convince the other townie that Grey's not town.

Greywing was my biggest town read D2, even prior to me thinking he might be the cop. That led me to believe most of this day it is Johnny & DLG's slot.

Long story short, I am very sure that it is Johnny/Grey or Johnny/DLG. The fact nobody has piled on DLG points that (at least) one of DLG and Grey are scum.

vote Johnny
I am completely mystified why this isn't a vote for DLG. I think, in Lylo when there's a vote down and no hammer, it's basically never correct to vote elsewhere because (at worst) you have a coinflip. This wouldn't have affected the result, but it surprised me a fair bit. It could be I'm just missing something.
What would have been interested to see was how Greywing coped with still being breathing on Day 4 - he's actually the very obvious nightkill for his part in killing Ghost World. I think he would have very likely still have won, though.
This is all from memory, but I hope it's of some interest.
