If you really are the doctor, then saying so one vote away from the lynch might have come in handy. Sure, you'd be dead the coming night, but we could have tried to lynch a scum instead.

First things first: please do not vote anyone until we have had plenty of discussion. One wrong vote by a townie and the mafia can kill us off.

Secondly: I did not give Yuko a chance to claim, because he had had ample time for that whilst being on 3 votes. A last minute "claim or else" will simply get a 'doctor' or 'cop' from a mafia as well, which would bring us no further. I considered his posting scummy, and I was wrong. That happens.

Yoko had the chance to claim. He had 3 votes. He chose not to. As I said before, entering the 'claim or you die' scenario is a worthless tactic, as scum obviously will claim doc or cop in that case.

Two out of the three others are scum. Again, do not vote yet, but discuss first. At the moment I am most suspicious of Jaguar and Talitha.

If the mod does not mind, I still like to see some more posts from the three suspects, so we can make up our minds....
At the moment, I'm pretty convinced that Jaguar is scum. I'm torn between Talitha and Morpheus - acutally, I expected Talitha to claim cop after me if she is scum.... that would have had a very high chance of success. Morpheus has a little less experience and might have missed that chance, if he is scum. One problem I have is that I have seen plenty of games of Talitha 9and I know she is a good player), whereas I have seen little of Morpheus.
I'm also interested to hear Thorreds opinion.

I tend to believe Talitha, agree with her analysis of the posts, and still think she would have claimed cop after me, if she were scum.

Challenge to Jaguar and Morpheus (and Thorred as well, a nice learning experience - it's a newbie game after all )... go through the previous posts and see whether you can find anything that incriminates Talitha.

I have to make either Talitha or Morpheus a compliment (or heaven forbid both, if I'm wrong about Jaguar) for a well-played game as scum. I'm still leaning strongly towards Morpheus being scum with Jaguar, mainly based on the argument that Talitha would probably have claimed cop after me if she were scum.

for Talitha in day 1 looks a bit too obvious if they are scum together.

I say we take out Jaguar now, and I'd advise you to take out Morpheus tomorrow. Unless someone comes up with a different plan.

No, they are not dead yet. Without any further knowledge derived from the posts all of you made, we have a 1/3 chance of losing the game right now, and 1/2 chance of losing the game tomorrow if we pick right today. That's 2/3 chance of a scum win. Fortunately we have a few things to go on.

On the other hand, I think the scum would have had an almost certain victory if one had claimed cop after me, seeing that I was suspect for casting the deciding (and some might say too rash) vote on Yoko. The argument would have been quite simple: "DP is desperate, he knows he is going down, so he does the only thing he can do - claim cop and get the cop out in the open. So be it. Lynch the scum and good luck town tomorrow". I think most players would have fallen for it. I also think Talitha would have seen that line of play. I could be wrong of course.

I don't think we will get any more information.

Phoebus, I would not tweek distribution of roles, because that leads too much to a meta-game. "We lynched a newbie scum, so the other one must be an experienced one".

That brings back memories of a 20pp game I once ran at the GL. As always, I went for a random distribution, and the 4 mafia roles went to 4 of the best players around. Still, the town won.
