Why do we have a vote count number 1 twice?

Well, apparently its rude to day kill someone two minutes into day, but that's the only thing I know.

Fritzler-the reason I found your play weird is that I'd expect you to be a bit more cautious in a smaller game, especially when any single vote can easily become a bandwagon. Also, I'd think you'd have enough experience to realize that the Eucalyptus bandwagon feels like a diversionary tactic, since one of the Prof Binky voters was likely to be bandwagoned once he got a third vote on him.

1. Expect the unexptected.
2. So I should have sensed (or expected?) a bandwagon on RandomActs and put myself there?

The thing is, I didn't really think of this as a third vote, though it obviously was. As i waiting . . and waiting . . and waiting . . for the game to begin, i thought, "OK, the prof looks like a good candidate for lynching, if for no other reason than to get the game moving." I had intended to vote for him from

before

the beginning of the game. I would have gladly cast the any of the votes, 1, 2, 3 OR 4. It had more to do with impatience than anything else. When i saw 2 votes already cast, i thought, "Here's a bandwagon, I'll jump on," thinking someone else would quickly add the fourth vote. I had no idea there was such significance given to a 3rd vote.

You realize if someone else quickly added the fourth vote he'd be dead, and he could be a cop or something?

It's more than 2x as likely that he's alien instead of cop.

Not necessarily, because mafia are more likely to give no thoughts to killing people, making them likelier to be on a bandwagon that lasted 3 minutes.

I have no claim to make except town. Anything more than that, and I’ll lose credibility if I should survive.

Honestly you should claim, you have nothing to lose by claiming. If you claim cop, a doc will protect you if we have one, if doc, at least you soak up a night kill, and can let us target someone else who could be mafia.

Almost a day has gone by (short 5 hours) and Randomacts looks like he's still in the game. Let's analyze who voted for RA so far:

Binky, Fritz, and DP are the 3 voters:

- DP claims to vote simply because he wanted to get the ball rolling again.
- Fritz on the otherhand, is voting for RA because of his actions in another game: meta-gaming.
- Blinky's vote (also the first) has more credit to it than the others, claiming that a 3rd vote early is a tactic used by scum.

Given the participation from these 3 so far, I'd have to believe that Fritz has the scummiest reason to vote.

Fritzler's fishing for our doctor, if he was a townie, he shouldn't care who our doctor is just yet, because if our doc was ever on the verge of being lynched, he'd claim and save himself at night.

I read this and think "good job covering your butt". I don't beleive he'd truly be angry we if lost our cop, in fact I beleive he'd be delighted that we lynched our cop first day.
