Why go so far out of your way to defend falkomagno at all? If his actions are as innocent as you keep telling us then it shouldn't be too much of a big deal for him to defend himself. I hope I'm not out of line by saying this but, it appears that English may not be falkomagno's first language. I can only come up with two reasons for so much aggression. One, it seems to be a pretty popular strategy to get through the first day. Or two, it comes from the frustration that the Irish haven't beaten the All Blacks in 100+ years of competition. I'll take a little of each...

Note that he explains falko's post for him. He's giving an excuse for falko's scummy sounding post instead of letting falko do so. That's scummy for two possible reasons:
1) Buddying - he's defending a player he knows is town to ingratiate himself
2) Helping - he's telling his scum buddy how to defend himself.

Whys everyone saying this? Those two options are very closed. Consider the fact that you said something to him that misrepped his post, I saw this and corrected you. I don't know his role and the fact that you close options into ones that only make me scum is incredibly one sided, care to explain why you cant explain what else I could've been thinking? Furthermore, besides these two possible scummy motivations, defending players in htat manner is anti-town. One of the best ways to figure out players is to examine how they explain themselves when pressured. Providing a response for someone else robs the town of information.

(FYI, their reason was SHIT. He simply got too much attention) Thus I'm kinda apprehensive of this turning into a witchhunt on Phily (has happened before for some pretty lame reasons ¬¬)

I don't really see the need for posts like this at the moment. I'm guessing that you are trying to put it out there that you could be the cop and by lynching you we could be killing a cop. Either you are mafia trying to scare us off voting for you (way too strongly given the situation btw). Legitimately the cop, who has hinted at your status way too early and unnecessarily and made yourself a target for N1 killing. Or your a townie who just wants to survive at all costs. I'm buying the third at the moment - but that approach is hardly helpful to us.

Reading the questions pushed towards me, The Corporation is making logical steps towards questioning me. You yourself are paying attention to not just me but also Toledo (I think) and keeping a wide pan of attention on the players in this game.

Qwints has earned my suspicion due to obvious reason, Gadgets posts came about only after The Corporation began questioning me, not only this but there arent really any good questions coming from him that I can remember. Altogether, hes more likely opportunistic scum than anyone else to me.

I wouldnt say that not pushing for a lynch after voting is scum like, I would say he has backed off his suspicions, the scum would more or less force people to think of that person with suspicion with trickery or whatnot.

Maybe he just plays different from me but whenever I'm playing and I suspect someone enough to cast a vote on them, I make damn well sure that vote is appropriately placed by not backing off the person but instead forcing them to be more active and answer any questions where theres been indiscrepencies [so mispelt]. I find it looks scummy to put on a vote and then drop a case as if thats all thats needed to show town this person is scum.

As for the Qwints thing, looks like no ones active enough now, perhaps scum are lying low since the majority of people are...

somewhat disagree with you, I think it did deserve a vote even if it was to pressure him to continue to participate in RVS, qwints was the only one voting Falko at this time so there wasn't really a reason to worry about a Lynch yet. Had it gone to L-2 or L-1 I would say Falko didn't deserve it.

I think theres only random votes and votes on true scum to be made in a game. Putting a vote on someone isnt pressure in my eyes unless it pops them into L-1. You can unvote when you arent sure someones scum anymore. Votes to apply 'pressure' is BS when its something like L-5.

Those two meant the same thing to me O_o I contradicted scum I felt was taking advantage of a genuine slip. Someone doesnt need to partake in RVS if they dont want to, at that point I thought Falko hadn't random voted and didnt want to though. I think later this was cleared up for me.

I felt Falko was being persecuted for not wanting to make a random vote. Voting someone seriously for that is just plain wrong. Turns out I misunderstood the situation though as later it was made clear he had already random voted but wanted to get into the real thing there and then, willing to be woken up when we were done. (Perhaps he thought RVS was dragging out too long?)

/sigh From what I've read people who act like this are usually town who get lynched for acting this way. For now I'm neutral because of this but in general your actions are more emotional based than logical. In short you haven't done anything to push me off the fence to either side yet.

PhilyEc - Philey has been dishing it out and taking it. There's not a whole lot for me to add here except for one observation. Since he brought up the meta defense - Phily was in my prior game and was lynched Day 1 mainly for lurking. He was vanilla townie in that game. I'm unsure on him.

I think if you look back my excuse was I'd discovered Mass Effect for the xbox at that time, and since I turned up town I wasn't lying to defend my scummy behaviour :3 I'm usually rather active as town, again meta defense but you brought it up.

Shotty to the Body - No content from Shotty. He keeps asking for people to post cases and observations while skating by without posting his own. Only attack was on a lurker. Shotty's my #1 suspect thus far.

I can seriously endorse this after getting Corps outlook on the posts hes made so far. Qwints is more neutral in my eyes due to the fact that he had slipped away for so long but I think I was some recent posts from him while scrolling up this thread. (to be fair) Like how your two scumspects are two of the three scumspects I have, making me feel I grasp the direction this games going in well.

Basically, a vote on true scum is a vote of mine on someone Im positive is scum. I really only vote for someone if they are obvscum after I've been satisfied with the way they've answered my questions. Anti-town behaviour doesnt mean the person is scum (due to existence of bad townies) but alot of it does gain attention and starts questioning. Anti-town gameplay can lead to gaining votes, yes. Is that clearer?

This was to the chainsaw defense thing (I don't know how to do multiple quotes in one yet, haven't played around with this) but the chainsaw defense is you attacking another player for attacking a diff one. Even if you don't say anything to defend that player your only reasoning for suspicion of Qwints was that he voted Falko.

Originally, my reason for voting Qwints was because he attacked someone who didnt want to make a random vote. It seemed extremely opportunist, like trying to point out the odd one out. Later I was alerted that Falko did indeed random vote but wanted to skip the RVS and get on with the real game (hopefullly right this time).

I think that is what makes the town role harder IMO. No information makes you paranoid and attack your own kind. I'm going to re-read the thread.
