A sign on the wall reads "Elevation: approximately two million feet belowground." As you groggily realize that something is blatantly wrong, you notice something dripping from the ceiling. Something red. You look up, and see something terrible…

You look further around the room. The only exit appears to be upwards… you must have been lowered into this chamber. You figure someone is playing a practical joke… and a cruel one, at that. Then, inexplicably, the room becomes dark, a bang rings seemingly inches away from your ears, and the room becomes light again. In the dead center of the room, you see another gruesome sight…

And so, you all instinctually decide that the best way to deal with the apparent threat is with democracy. You tie some rope laying in the corner in a loop for a noose, construct a gallows out of some scaffolding that you pull off of the upper walls, and prepare yourselves to figure out who's causing these strange deaths. RULES
During the Day...
1.
The game is a Day Start.2.
You may vote either with Vote: implosion
or VOTE: implosion. Unvoting is not necessary, although it is helpful. Votes that are not bolded will not be counted.3.
Each Day will have a deadline of 3 weeks. No majority at deadline will result in no lynch. I may extend the deadline if necessary for replacements, etc. 4.
Unless otherwise indicated in your role PM, no players may privately communicate during the day. 5.
Do not quote any mod communication of any kind, including role PMs. This may cause you to mysteriously vanish. Paraphrasing your role PM is acceptable.6.
I don't like cheaters. (a)
Anybody who is found to be using invisible text, spoiler tags (the kind that make text black, not the kind that hide text with a "show" button), encryption or anything as such will mysteriously disappear from the village unless they have an extremely good reason. Not knowing is not a good reason.(b)
If you have the power to edit yours or anyone elses posts, don't.7a.
If you do not post within 72 hrs, you will receive a prod. Failure to response to the prod within 48 hrs will result in an automatic replacement. If you contact me or post in-game before a replacement is found, you may continue to play without being replaced. Three prods with result in an automatic replacement as well.b.
If a person is prodded shortly before the end of the day, the prod timer will not stop overnight. If necessary, players must respond to prods via PM during the night phase, with the same 48 hour deadline as during the day. If a replacement is sought during night, a deadline extension will likely take place.8.
If you don't post for a whole game day, you'll be forcibly replaced barring extenuating circumstances (such as a quicklynch). During Twilight

Votes and unvotes will not be counted after a lynch.2.
The person lynched may still talk during Twilight until their lynch scene is posted.3.
Any quicktopics are still closed until the night phase is declared. During the Night Phase

The Night Phase will last 72 hours. Any actions that have not been received by then will be forgone. 2.
If your role permits it, you may talk to the players I have given you permission to talk to during the night. 3.

I will not accept insulting behaviour in my games, anybody doing so will receive a nice, well worded warning from me in thread. Further breaking of the rule will receive a harsher punishment. 2.

Never talk to anybody outside the game unless permitted by your role.4.
Don't piss off the mod. Bad things will happen, up to and including mysteriously vanishing. 5.
If you think you have found a loophole with my rules, notify me. I will recognise a loophole breakage and punish you accordingly.6.
Modkilling (or mysteriously vanishing) means I kill you immediately (for breaking the rules) and change your role to Neutral Survivor, meaning you auto-lose. Modkills will end the day if I determine it to have a negative effect on the faction whose member was modkilled.7.
Play to win
, just like everyone else. Don't get disheartened if you're lynched or attacked, basically don't take anything personally. If you feel somebody's behavior has been inappropriate, PM me about it and I will deal with it in some form or another.8.

Any provided flavor has absolutely no bearing on any player's alignment, any player's role, or any other aspect of the game. Mafia is a game of honor. Cheating is breaking the honor code you committed to when you joined this site.
