True. Playing offense helps SO much more. Really, it's no more than stating who you feel is scummy and why. Then, try and see if they interact with someone else you feel is scummy in a scummy way.
And Jas, do you mean you want a deadline? Why would you ever want that? It gives us less time to think. My record stands at 2 and 1-

Nobody's lynched yet, no night kills yet.. Somebody's active, somebody's non-active, somebodys lurking, some are newbies, some are with experience.. Some know how to play strong, some doesn't. Something that we might accept as scummy behaviour might be just weak game, lack of experience..
Chief, what can we figure out yet? We've got no facts. Only chatting about this, about that.. You think somebody will make such a slip that he gets five votes at the very beggining? Really doubt that. That's why I want a deadline. Then we will have strong facts..
Maybe you've got some kind of a plan with your (possible) scumbuddies? And at the moment there is no visible war here, nobody to accuse of serious disliking the one you're (possibly) planning to kill. But that's what mafia need, scapegoat to start lynching campaign against. More, mafia needs a lot of confrontations, so their own quarrels with each other to hide their connections wont seem to suspicious..
What have you to say on this?-

Iceall does have a good point - that Day 1 is hard. But that's why you have to push people. Make mountains out of molehills. If someone says something a little bit off, it's not so much what they say that's important, but how they react to the ensuing pressure.Taking a break from MS. Iceall makes a point. However.
Let's assume we don't do anything. We don't chat. We don't bandwagon for reactions or put some kind of pressure on people. Then what information will we have on Day 2? Ok, let's say the mod agrees to your deadline suggestion. Then what? Random Lynch someone? As if a random lynch and an informationless nightkill will tell us much... We need interaction to see people's attitudes and motives, so instead of whining about nothing happening, get in the game and make something happen.
Unvote; not sure if I had a vote on someone or not.
vote [jas]
for trying to push a deadline on us and seeming to push for an early night.Eek!-

I don't want to rush the game. I want something, anything, to move this game along. There's a reason I asked for a "very retractable" deadline. My Milked Eek wrote:Why do you want to rush the game? We are waiting for 2 more people to pick up their prods or to get replaced. And this game has been open for only... 2 weeks? Getting anxious?
But it looks like the simple fact of asking has generated some discussion in itself. If nothing else, I'm happy with that.[/jas]-

Around 100 posts in two weeks is pretty thin. We do need to start pushing people to talk. Um, Chief. How am you feel about MME now?is now full, but replacements are always welcome.-

Is it the exact same thing? Doesn't seem like it. I'd like clarification on this statement.Chief91592 wrote: MME says that Iceall makes a good point, yet he guns after Jas for the exact same thing. Good job in ignoring the rest of my post.Chief91592 wrote:MME says that Iceall makes a good point, yet he guns after Jas for the exact same thing. I find that very strange...
SoVote: My Milked Eek.
I didn't say good. And right after that line I said "However" followed by an explanation why we need discussion.
And Iceall and Jas didn't say the same things. Iceall was whining about lack of content and jas was asking for a deadline. I suggest you do a reread.Eek!-

Actually, I was asking for a deadline too..because of the lack of content. I must agree with what MME says about creating the content, still the implementation of deadline might improve the situation. Anybody who's at the top of votecount will start to act if the clock is ticking, even if there's some time left. It's like passing the activated bomb away.
So, MME, why you're slamming [jas]?
Had he said he want the deadline soon, quick, right away?My Milked Eek wrote:vote [jas]

Oh the irony, I didn't see Iceall talk about a deadline on the top of this page. However, [jas] addressed the mod directly about it.
For asking for a deadline. And I'm just applying some pressure. Not sure what you mean with "slamming".Iceall wrote:So, MME, why you're slamming [jas]?

I said you looked fairly pro town. I just found it odd that you gunned after one and not the other for saying very similar things. My Milked Eek wrote:

I disagree, Liam, that your case was crappier. You were pretty aggressive, but your offense was not based totally on suspect reasoning.
MME's response seemed sound..
Thus I agree with Rishi, yet again. the Chiefs case was crap at the time.My Milked Eek wrote: And Iceall and Jas didn't say the same things. Iceall was whining about lack of content and jas was asking for a deadline.

Though it should be noted that Iceall turned out to be asking for a deadline AFTER all!

Hmm. I think that line slipped past me.
But it looks like it slipped past you, too, chief. In Post 102 you address only Jas about the deadline.
I think Ice is just slippery.
Maybe they are both scum..
hmm.
I hate Day 1.
