So I'm the first one pushed for a "reaction" eh?
Well I'd normally do a very-minor-FOS for this, but seeing as we're being trigger-happy with the votes, unvote; vote: camn. Trying to jump on any bandwagon you can find much?
And yeah, to pre-empt any "lurking" claims, there's only so much you can post at the start of day one when nothing has really been said. Especially when anything you would point out already has been. I'm not one for "me too"-ing.[/jas]-

Not convinced it makes the game any "easier".Chief91592 wrote:there's a possibility that one will sacrifice himself to make the rest of this game easier.
Assuming no doc saves:
D1: lynch town = 6 town 2 scum left
N1: kill town = 5 town 2 scum left
D2: lynch obvious scum (whoever hammered) = 5 town 1 scum left
N2: kill town = 4 town 1 scum left.
That doesn't equal good odds for scum. And sufficiently worse odds if there are any doc saves or cop investigations.
So, if there are 2 scum out there who aren't on my bandwagon... feel free![/jas]-

I don't want to rush the game. I want something, anything, to move this game along. There's a reason I asked for a "very retractable" deadline. My Milked Eek wrote:Why do you want to rush the game? We are waiting for 2 more people to pick up their prods or to get replaced. And this game has been open for only... 2 weeks? Getting anxious?
But it looks like the simple fact of asking has generated some discussion in itself. If nothing else, I'm happy with that.[/jas]-

Still here.
Haven't been posting because there's still nothing to say! I don't post for the sake of seeing myself in print.
However,
Unvote; Vote: Rishi. Just a gut feeling at this stage, but since the start of the game you seem to have been trying to promote yourself as the "helpful person who everyone should trust" and you've been dropping comments through that seem "helpful", but I wonder if there's a reason behind the scenes that you're trying to gain the town's trust that what you say is probably right?[/jas]-

Stupid question the first: Shouldn't your goal be a town win (assuming you are pro-town...), rather than your personal survival? You win with the town anyway, and sometimes a townie lynch can be the best thing for the town if it protects a power role or throws more information into the game that will get scum lynched in following days.camn wrote:My goal is to live. . so I don't want to get killed, by my fellow townies, OR by the mafia![/jas]-

Says Liam after he unvotes camn?CallMeLiam wrote:
A fair comment. I'd have expected camn to be pushed a lot closer to lynch if we had a full quota of active scum tbhRishi wrote:The reason I am waiting for all players to be active is that I suspect one of the scum might be hiding amongst the lurkers.
Did you suspect her of being scum or not? If she was scum, why would other scum have pushed her closer?[/jas]-

And I quote. Again.

So if we had "active scum", would they or would they not have pushed camn closer to a lynch?CallMeLiam wrote:Why would they? They wouldn't have.[/jas]-

MME: You'd prefer I stayed silent?
I noticed something of interest, so I posted it. I have been vaugely following this game, but I do have to admit that for the past week or so it's only been skim-reading new posts which is probably why I haven't come up with anything notable (and thus haven't said anything). I want to go back and re-read the whole thing to get my bearings again, but that isn't happening in the next couple of days unfortunately.[/jas]-

You missed the point of what I was saying. Just before the post I initially quoted, Liam unvoted camn. The fact there was a vote there when there was a bandwagon like that suggests at least a sneaking suspicion that she was scum. Why, less than 10 hours later, are we assuming she's town and more-active-scum would have lynched her?[/jas]
